Our Future. Our Responsibility. Our Opportunity.

First Baptist Estero places high priority on our kids by providing them age appropriate bible teaching in a safe environment.

You are never too young to learn about Jesus.

Our mission to change lives through strong and rooted families starts with our youngest members. On a weekly basis we offer ministry in age-appropriate classrooms that feature programs that are designed to teach biblical principles on a level they understand.

Weekly Events

Truth Seekers is our Wednesday night program for kids in grade school. Each Wednesday we meet from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm. During this time we have whole group games and praise and worship then move into smaller groups for Bible study. Our Bible study time involves having the kids dig deep into the truth of a verse, learning who it was written to, what it means and how we need to apply it to our lives. We then challenge the kids to memorize this verse over the following week. We believe this time will help build a foundation of faith that they can build on their whole life.

The Gospel Project is presented on Sunday Mornings. The Children are taken on a three year chronological journey through the Bible. This program is for children age K-5th grades. The Children are dismissed from the sanctuary at the beginning of the 10:45 A.M worship service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there multiple classrooms?

We currently offer two options for children.  Our early childhood room is for birth through 4 years old.  We have a team of people who love children and love the Lord ready to serve you. The children will have the opportunity to play, sing and learn through hands-on activities. We believe that children of all ages can learn that God loves them and has a special plan for their lives.

Our elementary room is designed for Kindergarten through 5th grade. These children get the chance to dive into God’s word and learn in a fun and exciting environment. We believe that children remember what they are taught when they sing, play active games and do hands-on activities related to the lessons. We want the children to develop strong roots in Jesus and the Word of God.

Is my child safe?

At First Baptist Estero, your child’s safety is a top priority. All of our leaders and volunteers are screened and background checked. We also use a computer check-in system that prints a label for each child as well as a corresponding label for the parent or guardian. This label must be given to the leader when the child is picked up.

What will my child learn?

First Estero Kids is focused on teaching children about Jesus Christ through the study of the Bible. We are using the FaithWeaver program which teaches kids to weave their faith into their everyday lives.

My child has an allergy. What do I do?

When you arrive at FBCE, the check-in team will assist you. They will get information about your child including allergies or physical limitations. This information gets entered into the computer system and when an allergy is present the label will be colored different to make sure that the leader is aware of the condition.

What if my child needs me during service?

If a situation arises where a parent needs to be contacted, we will send a text message to the phone number which was provided. If the parent doesn’t respond, a helper will be sent into the service to discreetly notify the parent that they are needed.
